Maria and Dianna explore the French capital.

Paris, often hailed as the fashion capital of the world, served as the perfect backdrop for our designers’ latest inspirational trip.

From the renowned Premiere Vision fabric fair to the vibrant streets and the unique atmosphere, every corner of the enchanting city sparked their imaginations.

Premiere Vision Fair

The city’s biannual Premiere Vision fair serves as a powerful source of inspiration for designs and materials. Surrounded by a kaleidoscope of key colours and textures that showcased the latest trends and innovations in textiles, new ideas for upcoming collections took root. The fair's trend areas are particularly exciting, featuring talks and presentations on new technologies and bio-based materials.

Treasure of Inspiration

The cities many department stores were a treasure trove of inspiration, from the courtyard, café and mosaic flooring at the must-visit Merci lifestyle store to the glass domed ceiling at Galeries Lafayette and the iconic La Samaritaine, filled with influential fashion, contemporary interior design and restored architecture.

Art and Design

Art and design, prevalent in every corner of Paris, from local stores to home-grown eateries, was food for thought, and flowing lines, zinc rooftops and welcoming aesthetics left a lasting impression on Maria and Diana. Notably Quartier Montorgueil in the 2nd Arrondissement charms with its streets and specialty shops.
